Welcome to ATMA!
ATMA is a smart hostel at only a few steps from the beach of Huanchaco. We are located in the nicest part of town, just there where the noise ends, but close to all the attractions. The restaurants, bars and surf shops are literally just around the corner. But only the sound of the waves will reach your room in the night. From many parts of the hostel, including a big front balcony and sundeck, the sea can be seen and felt.
ATMA is a friendly, clean hostel, carefully designed from scratch to offer maximum comfort. Spacious rooms come with outside balconies. Tables, hammocks and benches are plenty to be found in our inside living room, sunny garden and front balcony. In the garden you can enjoy the company of a big tortoise that all walk around freely. We have ensured a great WiFi coverage through the complete property and a well equipped guest kitchen can be used all day.

Enjoy the beauty of the sea and Huanchaco sunsets from our big front balcony or from our roof sundeck. Have a drink with your friends or lay down in a chair, hammock or the swinging bench with a good book. The best relaxation!

In our garden you can soak up some sun, lay in a hammock or have a great time with some friends. You will be meeting our tortoise that roams around!
ATMA living room
The living room has some tables and chairs to sit down to enjoy your coffee, study or have a diner with your friends. Plenty of books are available to read or exchange and in the relax corner you can use our tv with NETFLIX. Free drinking water is available here all-day and we offer free coffee and tea every morning!
ATMA kitchen
Nothing beats a good kitchen to really feel at home. The ATMA kitchen is loaded with all the equipment like a blender, kettle, toasters and many pots and pans. We would love to see you here preparing your favorite meal with some friends.
ATMA beds
ATMA welcomes travellers of all kinds looking for a relaxing stay or a place to feel at home for a while. Rooms have been designed for maximum comfort and all come with quality mattresses. Private rooms also come with private bathrooms and are kindly decorated. Shared rooms (dorms) come in basic form for up to 6 persons, but we also host deluxe 4 person shared rooms for people looking for some more comfort. As we would lóve to have you over for a while we offer interesting discounts for a longer stay.

Surfers are welcome as Huanchaco has great waves, including a break right in front of the hostel. ATMA happily welcomes surfers and we have an outside shower to rinse your gear and a board- and wetsuit rack. We will direct you to one of the surfshops closeby for renting your perfect board or arranging a surfclass. Read all about surfing in Huanchaco here!
In these times it can’t go unmentioned that a network of high-speed (100 mb/s) wireless internet has been added to the property. Wi-Fi reaches everywhere on the property without a problem. This makes ATMA a suitable place if you work online. Don´t hesitate to request speedtest screenshots if in doubt!
